How Do You Read The Saptamsa D7 Chart?

How Do You Read The Saptamsa D7 Chart?

The Saptamsa is an important divisional chart in Astrology. It gives insight into the activities and results of one’s sexual interactions. Hence this division is seen for children, grandchildren, their possibility, well-being, prosperity, etc.

To see the fruits of these sexual interactions, i.e., children, one must analyze this Saptamsa by examining it through the lens of career and marriage prospects as well as a quality of life for parents and their children.

Some astrologers believe a female chart offers better insight into viewing one’s spouse or husband’s fate making it especially suitable for women on a spiritual path or seeking astrological assistance to help them make an informed choice about their future partners in life. As some practitioners believe there are more positive outcomes to be found in female charts than male ones.

Each zodiac sign of 30 degrees is divided into 7 parts, each part covers around 4 degrees 17 minutes, and 8.57 seconds (in astrology, there are a lot of approximations). In an odd sun sign, the counting starts from the point where the planet stands in that sign, and in even signs the counting begins from the 7th place to the planet.

A male child has predicted if the lord of the child is,
(a) placed in an odd sign or, Cancer or Pisces OR
(b) exalted or conjoins exalted planets, or
(C) conjunct the Sun, Jupiter, Mars, or Rahu (considered male planets).

A female child has predicted if the lord of the child is,
(a) placed in an even sign, Gemini or Aquarius, OR
(b) debilitated or conjoins debilitated planets, or
(c) conjunct the Moon, Venus, Mercury, Ketu (Considered feminine planets), or Saturn
